Terms & Conditions

IsaStudyzone is a peer-to-peer marketplace that helps learners and educators find each other, message, and arrange sessions. We provide discovery, messaging, booking records and invoicing tools. We are not a party to the contract for the session itself, which is between you and the other user. We are not the educator's employer or the learner's agent.

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity on your account. The marketplace is intended for adults. Where a parent or guardian arranges tutoring for a minor, the account holder is the parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their own behalf and consents to the processing of the child's data for the purpose of matching and delivering sessions.

Educators set their own rates, availability and terms. A service fee may be added on top of the educator's earnings and is shown before booking. Payments are made outside the platform, via the educator's chosen payment link; we do not hold, receive or remit your money. You agree to the educator's payment provider's terms when you pay.

Cancellation terms are shown at booking. Because payments happen directly between learner and educator, refunds are handled by the educator's payment provider according to its policies; we may assist but are not liable for payment outcomes.

You grant us a licence to host and display the content you publish (listings, reviews, messages, media) for the purpose of running the marketplace. You confirm you have the rights to that content and that it is lawful and accurate.

You agree to treat others respectfully, not to harass, deceive or misuse the platform, not to share unlawful or infringing content, and not to take payment off-platform to evade the service fee where one applies. We may suspend or remove access for serious breaches.

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of other users or third-party payment or AI providers. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury, or matters that cannot be excluded by law.

Our use of your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated appropriately. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
